Replacement Sash Kit
Replacement Sash Kit
The replacement sash kit is an excellent choice when your window frames are still in good shape, and you want to maintain the orginal appearance of your windows. These sashes are custom made and available with a wood exterior or an aluminum cladding in any custom color you choose. Interior is available in pine, douglas fir, white oak, cherry, mahogany, or primed pine. Available with lite designs (grids), and sashes are removable for easy cleaning.
Vinyl Replacement Window Vinyl Replacement Window
The vinyl repalcement windows is the most commonly used method of replacing old windows. Their are over 100 manufacturers of this style of replacement, and all can offer slightly different features. The custom ordered unit replaces the sashes. The vinyl is available in white, and a few other colors, usually beige and brown. Available with lite designs (grids), obscure glass for bathrooms, Stain glass, and triple pane.
Insert Replacement Window Insert Replacement Window
The insert replacement window is a complete unit much like the vinyl replacement window, but offers a wood interior and an exterior cladded in vinyl or aluminum. We offer this type of replacement window from Marvin (aluminum clad exterior) and Pollard (vinyl clad exterior). Both have lite designs (grids) and tilt in sashes for easy cleaning. Interior wood is available in maple, oak, pine, douglas fir, mahogany, cherry, paint grade pine, and primed wood.
New Construction Window New Construction Window
The new construction window comes with a full frame and exterior moldings. This unit can be used a replacement window, but requires a little or a lot more work to install. Sometimes, you really don't have a choice because your frame has rotted due to neglect or poor installation. The choices and options available are unlimited when using a new construction window. Sometimes the sizes offered by one manufacturer can be a lot better for your situtation and require less labor and material to install.
